Finally some new shoot pictures featuring our Henry. I added the scans mentioned in the last update to the gallery. I really want to make a new layout with these pictures eventually.
Henry is featured in Men’s Health Magazine this September. JustJared has a preview here and scans. I will add them to the gallery when I get home from vacation, which will be this week. For now, click on the link to see the images.
The Tudors star Henry Cavill reveals how to travel with ease through times and time periods in the September 2008 issue of Men’s Health. Here’s what the 25-year-old British actor had to say:
On being gung-ho about life: “I like to go full bore into something. If you have a backup plan, then you’ve already admitted defeat.”
On comfort being essential in fashion: “I’ve traveled enough on planes to realize it’s not about how you look–it’s about how you feel.”
On his favorite places to travel: “I prefer a place that has a certain energy to it–something with soul and its own identity, it’s own vibe. A place where people tell you they’re from proudly.”
Season 3 of The Tudors is coming to Showtime in 2009.
I found four new images from the set of the to-be-titled Woody Allen movie. They are in the gallery.
I knew something was wrong when Natalie Dormer was snubbed for Emmy consideration for The Tudors, let alone a nomination. Emmy nominations were released recently and The Tudors was not nomination for Best Drama, which is a shame. There is a short article here.
“Battlestar Galactica” got no respect for outstanding drama. Neither did “The Tudors,” which had a superb second season (as opposed to, say, “Rescue Me,” which had a dip in quality). There’s an argument that “Friday Night Lights” had a similar but not as steep of a decline, but an equally compelling argument is that the show is still great. “Big Love” got no love. Is that wrong?
Bonjour, everyone. I uploaded pictures donated by the same nice person from the last update. This time the pictures are from Stardust, another favorite of mine. There are movie stills and an on set photo. I also found two new old pictures of Henry at the Count of Monte Cristo premiere (again, one of my favorite movies).
Someone very kindly donated images from Tristan + Isolde. This person did not leave a name, however, but I am very thankful for everything. There are new DVD screen captures, posters, movie stills, promotional images, wallpaper, and a set picture. Check back for even more pictures soon! Henry in Tristan + Isolde is my favorite role of his!
I apologize for the lack of updates. Things have been quiet in the Henry world. I have good news: The Tudors was shortlisted for an Emmy award. While this is fantastic, many deserving actors, like Natalie Dormer, missed on on best actor nominations- in my opinion. Henry also missed out on being on the list of finalists. There is an article here about the awards.
The top 10 finalists for best drama and best comedy have already been announced.
The drama finalists are: Boston Legal; Damages; Friday Night Lights; Grey’s Anatomy; House; Dexter; Lost; Mad Men; The Tudors and The Wire, which despite making the top 10 is still considered unlikely to make the final five.
Also, a note about paparazzi pictures. There has been some discussion at the site. We do not post private candids or pictures of Henry out and about (the images from the last update are okay because he is posing willingly for the photos). We make an exception for movie set photos, when Henry is dressed up or in character or working. The goal here is to promote his work, not his private life. Thanks.
Henry and Tudors co-stars James Frain and Charlotte Salt posed for a photograph while at the Dandelion Bar in Dublin, Ireland, on June 13. The picture in in the gallery! Also, does anyone know who Charlotte Salt plays in the series? Thanks.
Wasn’t the finale amazing? I added 78 screencaps of Sir Charles Brandon to the gallery. Henry appears in a few scenes. Please visit my friend’s Natalie Dormer site if you’re interested in seeing media and pictures from Anne Boleyn’s point of view. Enjoy.
I found three more set pictures from the Untitled Woody Allen project with Evan Rachel Wood and added them to the gallery. I would appreciate any help if there are any more pictures out there! Thanks.
